2023 Buick Encore Review: GX, Preferred, and Other Models

As with the releasement of the new 2023 Buick Encore mode, this subcompact crossover will be the last of this generation. This model should be discontinued in the USA and Canada. Under the cargo floor and 16-inch wheels, we can expect to see a 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder motor. With 153hp and 177-pound feet of torque, this engine has a 6-speed automatic transmission. This motor has environmental safety and its rating is 27 miles to the gallon or 8.7 liters per 100 km.

For the 2023 model year, the new encore will switch to GEM vehicle architecture, which means that is suitable for Global Emerging Markets. This model will tend to have a better approach to the North American market and this version will have a transition to the 3-cylinder turbocharged engine with up to 1.3 liters of displacement.

The engine displacement will not affect the performance of the new version of vehicles. The minor changes will be notable, and the towing capacity will basically stay the same. The GM is certainly giving more options about upcoming trim levels, but for now, it is confirming the new info we have.

2023 Buick Encore Release Date

The release date of fresh 2023 Buick Encore will take place by the end of 2023. This model is planned for the US market although it seems that there will be options for Canada also. This is the most popular segment and especially this model with a longer presence on the market. So even discontinued, this model will tend to have a better upgrade as much as the new name.
