2024 Cadillac CT6 Is Still VERY POPULAR in This Country

The CT6 is no longer available in the US. But, the all-new vehicle debuted in China, where the popularity of the Cadillac brand is only growing. The car is there for 2 decades and the company decided to deliver a unique 20th-anniversary edition. The 2024 Cadillac CT6 changes the styling and interior but keeps the same platform, size, and engine. For now, a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine is the only option for the luxury sedan.

Under the Hood

The 2024 Cadillac CT6 introduces only a 2.0-liter turbo-four petrol engine for the Chinese market. But, there should be some upgrades in the following seasons. The entry-level system is ready to deliver 235 hp. A ten-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear axle. An all-wheel drive is optional. We already mentioned the Magnetic Ride Control feature, the top of the range suspension setup that adjusts shock absorbers for improved comfort. Still, for a vehicle of this size, a larger engine is more suitable. Previously, the CT6 also used a V6. But, a 3.6-liter mill is not coming back.

2024 Cadillac CT6-V Blackwing

The 2024 Cadillac CT6-V Blackwing is the perfect model for China. The company would show that this market is as important as the US. Also, fans from this part of the world would have a chance to get a high-end version of the vehicle. A 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 is still available on some models and it will be back for the Blackwing in 2024 or 2025. With it, the system will deliver at least 500 hp. Engineers can squeeze even more ponies. A smaller CT5-V in the US is using a 6.2-liter supercharged V8. This plant bursts 669 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque.

2024 Cadillac CT6 Return to USA

The car was launched in 2016, and only that year sales were better in the homeland than in China. Cadillac gave it some time, but in 2020, it ended up retail in its homeland. The luxury car market was crushed. We are still wondering how CT5 and CT4 survive. In 2024, we will say goodbye to the iconic Chevy Camaro.
