The most potent of GM’s three new Ultium Drive electric motors could be the option for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade IQL EV. There is 255 kW is generated by a single permanent magnet synchronous motor (342 horsepower). The PMSM allows FWD and RWD. According to GM, it was created for applications requiring both rear-wheel drive and performance all-wheel drive.
The new upcoming platform from GM has great options and can accommodate Ultium cells with battery capacities ranging from 50 to 200 kWh. Because it is a flagship model, the new Escalade EV is likely to have the greatest capacity battery available. The IQL will represent the third generation of all-electric vehicles which will bring new orders among the rivals. The competitive features are more than appealing for the modern car industry, especially for electric vehicles. Despite developing a unique Ultium battery and super Cruise features, the pricing will go even higher.
