The GM is continuing on producing and expanding the new arrivals of the SUV segment. The new model of the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer is going to be a smaller and more affordable SUV with newly redesigned features. The GM will offer a new and upgraded version of Trailblazer. We can expect many new advantages and details, but this model is not among the luxurious ones as we had the opportunity to see in Premium models.
According to the public, this model is unique, and as we said affordable for many. So is this a valid investment or just marketing? We can see that the new powertrain has the nice output and a very spacious interior. The model which is about to be released in the US tends to expand vividly. However, the more we study the appeal is higher. So, we can just take a closer look to all the main features.
Exterior Updates
We could see the current model of Trailblazer for quite some time now, and we can make a small comparison now. The new model of the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer will use the same current VSS GM platform. Although this platform is in use for bigger crossovers and SUVs, this model will take the redesigned form. However, whether is reduced dimensions, the shell itself is not heavy at all. The combination of the familiar materials will make easier output. Regarding the color options, we can count on basic ones, but the wider options are in upper trim levels. Since the smaller dimensions have their own flaws, we believe that this is not the case.
Since the redesigned unit was actually launched back in 2021, we can expect new upgrades for the 2023 model. We can expect LED technology with redesigned frontal lights combined with a wider grille. Also, the grille is centered so we can see the aggressive way the frontal fascia appears to be. The ground clearance will remain the same, and still combined with sport terrain tires it looks savage.
2023 Chevy Trailblazer Interior Changes
Since this is a redesigned model with a slight upgrade, we can not expect much. However, being one of the affordable smaller SUVs does not mean that the new 2023 Chevy Trailblazer is less attractive. The interior has some small changes, but nevertheless, it is appealing and eye-catching. The basic package, besides the spaciousness, has nothing much to offer concerning materials in use. The interior is basically made of hard plastic and chrome decorations, so the impression is somewhat upscale.
There will be two rows of seats which are able to receive up to five passengers with nice accommodation. There is enough legroom and an upgraded infotainment system is providing a large LCD screen with WiFi available. finally, we can mention a nice cargo space which is based on 25.4 cubic feet, and with seats folded it can go up to 54.5. this is more than enough space for this type of vehicle and class.
Features and Accessories
The new model of the GM company will tend to expose basically the same features with minor changes. However, the standard offer and base package will have the same features as the previous model. The base combo will have available features such as keyless entry, a 7-inch touch screen, a six-speaker stereo, satellite radio. The other things available are Bluetooth, USB ports, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, also based on the standard option. The updates are minor but we can see that there is an 8-inch Led screen available with additional USB ports, and seven-speaker Bose audio system. In addition, there will be options for the panoramic sunroof and automatic climate control.
The safety measures are also fairly equipped with a rearview camera, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking. The offer is way more generous regarding that this is still a basic standard package so we can see the fast sell.

Engine Specs
The engine spec will basically remain still. The new 2023 Chevy Trailblazer will still have several engine options. The several turbocharged engines can start with a familiar 3-cylinder engine. The first one is a 1.2-liter unit, which has an output of 137 hp and comes in pair with a CVT transmission. So, this performance is not that much attractive, but with the stronger engine, the performance is getting better. Although the fuel economy goes around 29 mpg in city and 31 mpg on the highway.
The 1.3 unit is a better choice also with more power and 155 hp. this one goes with 9-speed automatic transmission, also paired with AWD.
2023 Chevy Trailblazer Price
The start price for the new 2023 Chevy Trailblazer should be around $23,000. The upper trim levels such as Sport should cost more but not over $28,000. This type of segment should have an upper price, but that was not an idea.
The affordable model with the deliberately affordable spec is here to attract new clients and to show how classes like this can be also nicely equipped. we believe that launching will take place by January 2023.
