General Motors is a leading carmaker and the company launched many new models recently. The 2024 Chevy Equinox will be the flagship crossover, especially with the novelties coming for the upcoming season. The new model of this small SUV will engage more upgrades and additional technical features, although this is not much different than the current model. The Equinox will be offered with more trim levels, and there is also an EV version as an option. The fresh arrival will tend to show more new details and upgraded performing skills. There will be many advantages compared with the current model, although the recent facelift drew the attention, so we talk about finesses.
The cosmetic changes are notable, although the dimension and color options should stay basically the same. As we previously mentioned, there will be an EV version of this model. Regarding the new launching, we can expect a better infotainment system with an upgraded offer.
Redesign and Changes

The exterior is definitely one of the similar designs which are available on the current model. The score with the new Equinox could not be measurable with other rivals in the same category. Although the final redesign is not revealed in total. We can see the sharp and aggressive boxy shell with a great grille at the front. The LED lighting system is a must and combined with 17-inch tires it may look quite fierce.
Interior and Features
The new model will tend to show many new updates, especially in the technical department. The new 2024 Chevy Equinox will contain pretty much the same features although in different packages. The things as Wireless Apple CarPlay Android Auto is standard across the entire lineup. This will be handy for navigation or mp3 sound-system. The Wi-Fi is also standard, and AWD availability is part of a standard package.
The On-star emergency service calling is one of the most appreciated features and part of safety measures. However, regarding the launching model or year, a 5-year subscription is included as it is in the current model. The hands-free operative system is upgraded with a more sensitive sensor. However, this feature is available on the Premier trim level. Safety alert seat with vibrations is also part of advanced trim levels, in Premier trim level in particular.
2024 Chevy Equinox Performance
The performing skills did have an upgrade, but the true engine is having stronger output than the current one. The new engine will deliver a stronger output and boost overall performance. The new 2024 Chevy Equinox SUV will have 180 hp and 205 lb-ft of torque. The 6-speed automatic transmission will stay the same with FWD standard and AWD optional.
The fuel injections are faster and with regular gasoline is giving nice output. The fuel economy has increased and according to EPA, this is a positive feature. The towing capacity is enlarged although the lighter weight of a shell affects it still. More news about the EV model will be available soon, but it will be launched in 2024, after Hummer, Chevy Bolt and Cadillac Lyriq.
2024 Chevy Equinox Price
Compared to the previous model, the new 2024 Chevy Equinox will have a starting price of $27,000. Some base models are more affordable, but the Premier trim level can go over $33,000. The EV version is on track, perhaps there is a chance to be available by the same date as this launch. The EV model should have a stronger price and a more serious battery range.
The launching date should be arranged by the end of a next year. However, due to pandemics and world crises, we believe that the final debate should be by the end of 2024. The remaining EV version is still untacked. However, regarding EV performance the infotainment system will remain the same, although we can count on upgraded features and expanded standard offers.
There will be o news until the GM announces the final end of a project. The new Equinox is already available for reservations and pre-orders. Compared to its rivals, the EV SUV should cost over $40,000. Although the low price is reserved for standard lower trims, we are not sure about the final arrangements.
